Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colin Kark!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buss shoots in for a double leg but Kark sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Buss tries to clinch but Kark is having none of it.
Buss fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Buss really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kark stuffs the takedown attempt from Buss. Buss gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karl Buss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kark thumps Buss with a low kick.
Kark lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Buss moves to clinch but Kark breaks away

and Kark counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Buss has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kark is working away from the top position though.
Buss avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kark.
Buss keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Kark missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Kark not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kark is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Kark is controlling the pace.
Kark lands strikes from half guard.
Kark throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kark has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kark is trying to control the action in half guard but Buss is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Buss knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kark on the ground.
Buss has hold of Kark's hands but Kark slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Kark lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kark trying to mount his opponent but Buss defends it.
Kark throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kark missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Buss wants to get back to full guard.

Kark slips a nice elbow through Buss's hands, connecting with Buss's forehead.

Buss is rocked!

Oh Buss is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kark scores with a big shot! Buss's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Buss! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
