PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Lemieux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morgan drops Lemieux with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lemieux looks back up at him and smiles so Morgan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Matt Lemieux has been cut.
Morgan pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Morgan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lemieux tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Morgan is in Lemieux's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lemieux is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Morgan is controlling him.
Morgan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Morgan wants to control from the top but Lemieux keeps moving.

Morgan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Morgan tries to stand but Lemieux is controlling from the bottom.
Morgan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lemieux on the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Morgan lands a big uppercut and Lemieux crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lemieux looks OK. Morgan waves Lemieux back to his feet!

Morgan drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Lemieux right on the button. Lemieux goes down! Morgan follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Morgan gets the win via TKO!
