The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean slips a jab from Lepdev.
Dean circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dean avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A jab from Lepdev misses.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lepdev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice defenses there by Dean.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dean.
Lepdev misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dean closes the distance and clinches up with Lepdev, looking for a takedown. Dean pushes Lepdev against the cage but Lepdev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lepdev lands a left and a right that send Dean crashing to the mat, dazed. Lepdev thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Jake Dean has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dean is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Lepdev just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! And now a right hook, right on the button! Dean has gone limp, and this one is over!
