Magalhaes comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Cash - Aint no Grave. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Raimi gets a double leg takedown into Magalhaes's guard.
Raimi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Raimi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Raimi distracts Magalhaes with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Magalhaes is trying to keep Raimi in close.

Raimi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Magalhaes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Raimi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Raimi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Raimi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Magalhaes swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Raimi wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Magalhaes's closed guard. He's half up but Magalhaes has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Magalhaes pivots and extends the arm, Raimi falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Magalhaes! Well done that man!
