The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez misses with a double jab.
Vovkov moves forwards but Alvarez connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Alvarez throws a right hand that Vovkov ducks under and follows up with a left that Vovkov also avoids with ease.

Vovkov tries for a takedown but Alvarez circles away easily
letting Alvarez counter with a right hand.
