PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drago comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Mac Taylor told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Taylor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Drago moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Drago counters with a right hand to the body.
Taylor swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Drago counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Taylor throws a right hand that Drago ducks under and follows up with a left that Drago also avoids with ease.

enabling Drago to counter with a crisp jab.

Drago scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Drago connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Drago misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Taylor.
A combination from Drago does no damage.
Taylor takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Mac Taylor has been cut.

Taylor takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Taylor walks into a straight right hand from Drago.
Drago stuns Taylor with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Drago darts in and clinches Taylor up against the cage.
Drago lands a hook that snaps the head of Taylor backwards.
Taylor's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Taylor is rocked!
Clinched against the cage, Drago lands a big elbow that drops Taylor! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Taylor is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
