The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A jab-cross combination lands for Silva and sends Milevskiy crashing to the mat! Silva follows him down to the mat - Milevskiy regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Milevskiy is rocked!

It looks like Andrey Milevskiy has been cut.
Milevskiy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Oh Milevskiy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Milevskiy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!
Milevskiy lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Silva.

Silva turns into Milevskiy and is now in his guard.

Silva stands and throws Milevskiy's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Milevskiy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Milevskiy tries to get out of the position.

Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Milevskiy is trying to get back to half guard.

Silva stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Milevskiy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
David Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Milevskiy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Silva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Milevskiy is one step ahead there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Milevskiy fails with a takedown attempt.

Nice sprawl there from Silva as Milevskiy shoots in.
Silva lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Silva tries to bum rush Milevskiy with a series of wild strikes but Milevskiy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Milevskiy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrey Milevskiy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Silva lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Milevskiy can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Silva and Milevskiy drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Silva.
