Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grey comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I've Got the Power kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Michael Corleone could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gabriel Grey's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grey misses with an uppercut
and Corleone makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Grey closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Corleone did well to prevent Grey getting side control.
Corleone wants to get back to full guard.
Corleone wants to control but Grey is keeping busy.

Corleone kicks Grey off and gets back to his feet.

Grey has managed to clinch.

Corleone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Corleone throws a right and a left that both miss.

Grey closes the distance and clinches.
Grey tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Corleone just stands there and leans against the cage.

Corleone is trying to trip Grey. He has hold of a leg but Grey is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Corleone persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Corleone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Grey looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Grey has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Corleone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Corleone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Corleone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grey swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Michael Corleone.

Corleone takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Corleone is pressing down on Grey's thigh, looking to free his foot. Grey is holding on for now.

Corleone is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Grey defends it well.

Grey is trying to control but can't.
Corleone wants to take a breather but Grey is having none of it.
Grey is looking to control Corleone's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Grey avoid being mounted?

Corleone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Grey keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Grey gets caught napping as Corleone dives in and scores a takedown. Grey manages to retain guard.

Corleone lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Grey down.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
