The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macieira circles away from the clinch attempt.

Gormel throws a combination. Macieira tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Gormel feints and as Macieira raises his hands in defense, Gormel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gormel wants to control from the top but Macieira keeps moving.
Gormel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Macieira doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
