Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rey Mysterio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dutch Matrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matrix has chosen Locust as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rey Mysterio could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dutch Matrix's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mysterio avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mysterio. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Matrix tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mysterio manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Matrix counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rey Mysterio's cut is getting worse.
Matrix is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Mysterio like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Mysterio from another fist facial!
