Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ashe Corven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baeddan Mc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corven comes to the cage accompanied by Escape. Mc is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Choice Is Yours (This or That) by Black Sheep. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mc jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Corven fails with the takedown
and Mc counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Corven shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mc is trying to defend but Corven finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mc is looking to get back to full guard here but Corven has managed to pass to side control instead.

Corven is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mc is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Mc is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Corven pulls his head out easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Corven drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mc manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Corven has Mc in his guard.

Corven wants to control from the top but Mc keeps moving.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mc wants to stand and escape but Corven is having none of it.
Corven wants to control from the top but Mc keeps moving.
Corven is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Mc shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Corven napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mc throwing strikes but Corven manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Corven is looking to pass Mc's guard but actually Mc recovers to full guard.

Corven stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mc swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mc lands a nice shot to the body.

Mc throws a sloppy head kick and Corven moves out of range easily.

Corven drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mc looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mc looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mc!
Corven is working to avoid the ground and pound but Mc connects with a decent elbow.

Corven wants to control but Mc is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Mc wants to stand up but Corven has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mc lands with a punch from half guard.
Mc missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Corven has hold of Mc's hands but Mc slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Baeddan Mc is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Mc is trying to control the action in half guard but Corven is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Corven is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mc scores with a couple of nice shots.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
