The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cathay closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Cathay breaks from the clinch.
A head kick from Berlley lands but Cathay takes it in his stride.

It looks like Carl Cathay has been cut.
Cathay tries to land a body kick
and Berlley counters with a good, hard body kick but Cathay shrugs it off.
Cathay thows a body kick. Berlley tries to catch it but that hurt him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cathay takes a swing at Berlley's ribcage but misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Cathay.
Berlley takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cathay throws a wild body kick that Berlley sees coming a mile off.
Berlley tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Berlley takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Berlley doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Berlley is breathing heavily.
A low kick from Berlley misses
and Berlley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cathay scoring well with a low kick there.
Cathay connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Cathay throws a leg kick which misses Berlley's front leg but catches the back leg as Berlley tries to avoid it.
Cathay lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Whack! Cathay lands a heavy head kick that drops Berlley. The ref tackles Cathay to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Berlley was done.
