The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McCarthy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Francesco Luongo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luongo moves out of range of the leg kick from McCarthy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCarthy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McCarthy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Luongo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and McCarthy makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Luongo really felt that one!
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Luongo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McCarthy.

Luongo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and McCarthy counters with a hugh head kick that removes Luongo from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
