The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Rodgers counters with a lovely shot to the body.

No joy there for Rodgers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Rodgers holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Aarons is trying to push Rodgers away but Rodgers has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Aarons has had enough of the clinch but Rodgers keeps him there for the moment.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Rodgers counters with a crisp one two that drops Aarons! Rodgers thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Aarons to his feet! Aarons is in big trouble!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
