Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ray Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into the arena with Holla If Ya Hear Me! blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to clinch but Ramirez moves away

and Ramirez counters with a shoot takedown. Jones fights it but they end up in guard.
Ramirez wanted to stand there but Jones had control of the position.
Jones wants to stand but Ramirez is controlling the position.
Jones has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Robert Ramirez hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ramirez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ramirez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Ramirez finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Ramirez has an Americana. Jones didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ramirez is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ramirez hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
