PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tj Beckerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cru Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Beckerman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Era - Enae Volare Mezzo. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jones throwing strikes but Beckerman manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Jones is looking for a sweep.
Jones is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Beckerman working the body and head with strikes.
Jones manages to get back to half guard.
Jones is looking for a sweep. Beckerman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Beckerman working over Jones with some ground and pound. Jones looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

The cut above Cru Jones's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Jones has hold of Beckerman's hands but Beckerman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Cru Jones's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cru Jones's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
