Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Pazzini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Rutecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pazzini's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger. Rutecki has chosen Remember the Name as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dexter Rutecki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutecki misses the jab.
Pazzini throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rutecki moves to clinch but Pazzini breaks away
and Pazzini counters with a good low kick that Rutecki was not able to check.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pazzini blocks a head kick by Rutecki.
Pazzini dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rutecki. That did some damage!

and Pazzini counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Pazzini closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rutecki did well to prevent Pazzini getting side control.

Pazzini is looking for a kimura but Rutecki is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pazzini to get the leverage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
