Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Laurent Tesser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Trump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle Trump has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tesser gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Trump counters by clinching up.
Trump turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Trump is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tesser is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Tesser tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tesser is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Tesser gets back to full guard.
Trump preventing the sweep.
Tesser bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Trump's guard.
Trump controls Tesser momentarily but Tesser frees himself.
Tesser thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Tesser postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Trump is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tesser, into his guard.
Tesser is breathing heavily.
Trump wants to control from the top but Tesser keeps moving.
Tesser is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Trump must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Tesser is looking for a triangle but Trump pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Tesser escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Trump gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Trump working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tesser's head.
Trump really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tesser. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Trump looking to pass the guard.
Tesser had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Trump defends it easily.
Trump would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Trump trying to control but Tesser is working from the bottom.
Trump wants to pass the guard but Tesser is keeping the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Tesser is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Trump defends well.
Tesser is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tesser is looking for a triangle here but Trump uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Tesser seems a little lost for a moment, as Trump dominates the positioning.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tesser looking for a sweep but Trump has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Trump tries to control but Tesser wriggling away.
Tesser working to try and regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Trump dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Tesser dodges the punch combination from Trump.
Tesser swats away the attempt to clinch by Trump.
Tesser shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Trump as he jumps to the side.
Tesser has a takedown stuffed.
Tesser fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Laurent Tesser. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trump wants to clinch up but Tesser keeps it at a distance.
Tesser keeps the fight on the outside.
Oooooh!!! Trump has knocked Tesser down with a huge combo! Trump steps away and waves a wobbly Tesser back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Tesser is rocked!
Trump misses with an uppercut. Tesser saw that one coming.
Oh Tesser is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Trump swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tesser tries to keep at a distance but Trump has taken the fight into the clinch.
Trump lands a big knee! That's hurt Tesser! Oh, he's all over the place! Trump lands another knee that sends Tesser to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Trump!
