The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nielsen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Reis.

Reis gets a takedown into half guard.

Reis wants to work for an arm triangle but Nielsen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Nielsen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Reis stops Nielsen from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nielsen is trying to control but can't.
Reis passes the guard and advances to mount!

Nielsen defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Reis.

Reis is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nielsen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Reis has control of Nielsen's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nielsen regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Reis has isolated one of Nielsen's arms. Nielsen looking to fight him off but Reis twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
