Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibson has chosen Tech N9NE- Einstien as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Payne pinned against the cage. Payne gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Payne tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gibson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Gibson feints and as Payne raises his hands in defense, Gibson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Payne keeping moving, preventing Gibson from controlling successfully.

Gibson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Payne tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Payne shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Gibson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Payne's guard now.

Gibson postures up in Payne's guard and throws a big left but Payne blocks it.
Payne has his hands on Gibson's head, controlling the position.

Payne is looking to stand up but Gibson isn't so interested in that idea.
Gibson is stalling in the full guard.

Payne changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gibson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gibson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Payne off and has taken his back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Payne is trying to get back to his feet but Gibson has full control of the position and if anything, Payne has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Payne is keeping busy.

Gibson has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Gibson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Payne is defending well though. Gibson let's go of the attempt for now.
