PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Mordor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrico Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas tries to clinch but Mordor moves away

and Mordor counters by clinching up.
Vargas digs a right hand underneath Mordor's ribcage. Mordor let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Mordor swings around for an armbar but Vargas sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mordor's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mordor drops back, looking for a kneebar! Vargas looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Vargas looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Vargas!
