PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richter Alastrasz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Nocauteador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo Nocauteador told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Alastrasz shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nocauteador is trying to defend but Alastrasz finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Ricardo Nocauteador has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Alastrasz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Nocauteador doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Alastrasz counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Alastrasz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
