Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cam Anthony Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rod Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rollins has chosen Entertainer - Billy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollins slips a jab from Anthony Jr.
Cam Anthony Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anthony Jr bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Rollins! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Rollins has his foot on Anthony Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anthony Jr works his way back into a safe position though.
Rollins seems to have recovered his senses.

Anthony Jr wants to get up but he can't break Rollins's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Rollins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anthony Jr's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rollins loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Rollins wants to pass the guard but Anthony Jr is keeping the position.
Anthony Jr is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Rollins dives into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rollins is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anthony Jr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Anthony Jr is pushing Rollins's head away, looking to escape. Rollins manages to hold on to the position though.
I wouldn't like to be where Anthony Jr is right now.

Anthony Jr is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Anthony Jr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rollins on the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rollins accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Cam Anthony Jr will probably get the nod.

Rollins shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Anthony Jr catches Rollins with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Anthony Jr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rollins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Anthony Jr's waist but Anthony Jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rollins off to one side.
Cam Anthony Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rod Rollins.
