LePew tries for a takedown but Badel circles away easily

and Badel counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Badel is taking a breather. LePew says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

LePew tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Badel has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Badel content just to control the position here.

Badel's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
LePew tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Badel controlling the pace for now.
LePew is desperately trying to improve his position but Badel has a good base and remains in mount.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Badel tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
LePew regains half guard.
LePew gets back to full guard.
LePew working a defensive guard but Badel manages to pass into side control anyway.
Badel is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt LePew will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
LePew sneaks back into half guard.

LePew is looking to control Badel's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can LePew avoid being mounted?
Badel wants to stand up but LePew has a hold of him and won't allow it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Badel wants to control from the top but LePew keeps moving.

Badel is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but LePew has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Badel is looking to defend but LePew has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Badel! LePew pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Badel taps out and this one is all over!
