The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry throws a poor cross that misses
and Takimoto makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Henry with a poor takedown
and Takimoto counters with a straight right hand.
Takimoto scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Henry gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Henry takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
No joy there for Henry , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Takimoto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Henry was well out of range. Poor timing from Takimoto.
Henry takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Henry falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Takimoto counter with a right hand.
Henry shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Takimoto counters with a stiff right hand.
Tetsuya Takimoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackie Henry .
Henry throws a combination that misses
and Takimoto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Takimoto lands a jab to Henry 's midsection.
Henry looks gassed!
Takimoto lands a nice hook to Henry 's body. Henry takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Takimoto counters with a nice uppercut.

Takimoto is stalking Henry . Henry circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Takimoto, and it's lights out! Henry really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
