Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Haji Muakbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tam Froyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Tam Froyo enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muakbar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Froyo has a takedown stuffed.
Muakbar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Froyo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Muakbar closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Froyo quickly recovers to half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Muakbar has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Froyo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Muakbar is fending him off so far but Froyo persists. Nope, Muakbar circles away and we're back to standing.
Muakbar dives in and grabs Froyo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Froyo pushes down on Muakbar's head and hops out.

Froyo leaves Muakbar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Froyo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Muakbar quickly recovers to half guard.

Muakbar is positioning himself well to prevent Froyo advancing to mount.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Haji Muakbar.

Froyo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Muakbar as he jumps to the side.

Froyo tries for a takedown but Muakbar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Froyo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Muakbar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Froyo pinned against the cage. Froyo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Froyo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Muakbar defends it nicely.

Muakbar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Muakbar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Froyo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muakbar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
