Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donny Brooke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keyser Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keyser Soze struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soze fails in his attempt to clinch.
Soze cracks Brooke with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Brooke closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Soze takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Brooke wants to control but Soze is keeping him busy.
Brooke throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Brooke is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Soze is trying to escape and Brooke transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Soze is forced to tap! Nice work there by Brooke! Very nice indeed!
