The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rogers shoots in and bounces House off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
House really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rogers postures up and lands a big shot to House's brow.
Rogers is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Rogers cracks House with a solid left hand.

House is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rogers defends well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

House throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rogers is in close to House's body, working some short punches and elbows.

House has his foot on Rogers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rogers works his way back into a safe position though.
Rogers must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Rogers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. House swivels though and keeps the full guard.

House has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rogers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This has been an exciting period of action!

House is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Rogers rolls with it to try and escape but House cranks on the arm and Rogers is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
