Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Petri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rampage Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petri comes to the cage accompanied by Seek and Destroy. The key to victory for Ryan Petri has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Petri tries to lock up and control but Jackson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The referee warns Petri that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Petri wants to control but Jackson is having none of it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Petri moves to clinch but Jackson breaks away
and Jackson counters with a single leg into guard. Petri didn't expect that.
Petri is looking for a triangle but Jackson pushes his legs off easily.
Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Petri has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Petri had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jackson defends it easily.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Petri isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jackson stacks Petri on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jackson!

Petri wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Petri managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Jackson.

Rampage Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Jackson is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Petri looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Petri moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.
Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Petri shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Petri looking to sit in guard and control but Jackson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Petri has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jackson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Petri.
Rampage Jackson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Petri takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Petri manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Jackson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Petri looking for submissions off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jackson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ryan Petri has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jackson is trying to control the action in half guard but Petri is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Jackson seems to be looking for submissions.
And that's the end of the fight!
Rampage Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
