The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prokhorov tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Jones scores with a head kick.
Prokhorov throws a shot from downtown. Jones moves away and avoids it.
Jones throws a chopping leg kick but Prokhorov manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Jones slips a straight right by Prokhorov.

Jones attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Prokhorov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones throws a push kick but Prokhorov slaps the foot to one side.
Prokhorov throws a poor cross that misses
and Jones makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Jones fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Prokhorov is out of range.
Prokhorov blocks the body kick.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A clash of legs there as Prokhorov blocks the low kick.

Prokhorov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Prokhorov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Prokhorov checks a leg kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Prokhorov misses with a left hand
and Jones counters with a low kick, right behind Prokhorov 's knee.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jones on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jones throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Prokhorov moves out of range of the body kick.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jones shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A bone on bone clash there as Prokhorov blocks the leg kick.
Jones fakes the leg kick and cracks Prokhorov in the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jones tries a head kick but it misses.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Prokhorov tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A thudding body kick lands there by Jones!
Jones takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Prokhorov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jones can pounce on him.

Jones finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Prokhorov fails with the takedown.
A chopping leg kick lands by Jones.
Viktor Prokhorov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Edward Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Prokhorov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Prokhorov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.

Prokhorov throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jones finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Jones looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
And that's the end of the fight!
Edward Jones showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
