The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Craig moves into range and connects with a jab.
Danes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Craig as he jumps to the side.
Danes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Craig is fending him off so far but Danes persists. Nope, Craig circles away and we're back to standing.
Craig thuds a left hand into Danes's body.

Craig rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Danes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Craig throws a right hand that Danes ducks under and follows up with a left that Danes also avoids with ease.
Danes keeps the fight on the outside.
Danes looks for a takedown but Craig sprawls well.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Danes is defended easily by Craig.
Craig throws a series of punches but Danes avoids them all with ease.
Danes drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Danes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Craig as he jumps to the side.
Craig misses with a jab, cross combination.
No luck for Danes with that takedown attempt.
Danes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Craig but Craig pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Craig really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Oooooh!!! Craig has knocked Danes down with a huge combo! Craig steps away and waves a wobbly Danes back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Danes is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Craig connects with a stiff jab that staggers Danes - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
