The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steiner closes the distance and pushes Longson back into the cage.
Longson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Steiner smiles and moves away.
Longson shoots in looking for a takedown but Steiner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Longson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Longson.
Laslo Steiner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Callum Longson.
Steiner tries to clinch there but Longson circles away.

Longson gets a takedown into half guard.

Longson seems to be looking for submissions.

Longson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Steiner doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Longson.

Longson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Longson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Steiner, who protects the arm well.

Longson has hold of Steiner's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Steiner tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Longson cranks the arm and Steiner screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Steiner, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
