Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joel Sands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson Teller acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joel Sands!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jackson Teller!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teller throws a lazy head kick
and Sands counters with a right hand to the body.
Sands fails with a takedown attempt.
Sands chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Teller can pounce on him.
Teller lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Sands changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Teller tries to avoid it but Sands manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Teller to the ground. Teller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sands shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Sands fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Teller avoids it really well and circles away.

and Sands counters with a nice low kick that buckles Teller's knee momentarily.

Sands throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Teller's waist but Teller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sands off to one side.
Sands is breathing heavily.
