Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Purple Haze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Kose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haze fails with the takedown

and Kose holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kose is pressed up against the cage. Haze has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kose down to the mat. Kose avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Kose throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Haze tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kose is in Haze's guard.

Kose is looking to stand up but Haze won't let him.
Haze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kose stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Kose closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Kose stops Haze from getting back to his feet.
Kose missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Kose is trying to control. Haze wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Haze manages to get to full guard.
Haze lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kose!
