The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baldado Jr manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Velasquez on his heels. He'll look to pass Velasquez's guard now, I'm sure.
Velasquez has his foot on Baldado Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Baldado Jr works his way back into a safe position though.
Baldado Jr is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Baldado Jr drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Baldado Jr as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Velasquez screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Baldado Jr! Nice submission victory there!
