Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Core tries for a takedown but Parker circles away easily
and Parker counters by moving into the clinch.
Parker manages to break the clinch.
Core shoots and misses
and Parker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Parker has taken the fight to the clinch.
Parker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Parker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Parker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Parker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Hard Core has been cut.
Core tries for a takedown but Parker circles away easily
and Parker counters with a series of strikes. Core will be more careful next time no doubt.
Hines Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hard Core.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Parker clinches up with Core and pushes him back against the cage.
Parker manages to break the clinch.

and Parker counters with a three punch combo that has Core backing up. Core nods at Parker to acknowledge the strikes.
Core is rocked!
Parker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hines Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Core gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Parker makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Core prevents Parker from standing back up.

Parker regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Core.
Parker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Core has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Core has gone for a leg lock! Parker slips out almost immediately though and dives into Core's guard.

Core looking for a guillotine here but Parker defends easily.
Core is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Parker is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Core is working an open guard so Parker takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Parker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Core, pushing him back against the cage.
Parker pushes Core back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Parker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Parker lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Parker is struggling to control the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Parker lands a big head kick that sends Core tumbling to the mat! Parker takes a step backwards and waves Core back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Core loses concentration momentarily and Parker pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Core crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Parker finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Hines Parker!
