Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juda Schwartz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juda Schwartz acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Drago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juda Schwartz!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago doesn't manage to clinch there - Schwartz circles away.
Schwartz throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Schwartz clinches up with Drago and pushes him back against the cage.
Drago lands a nice elbow.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Drago just misses with a elbow thrown towards Schwartz's brow.
Schwartz lands a body punch in the clinch.
Schwartz lands a nice knee to the body.

Schwartz jumps guard and drags Drago to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Drago looking to pass the guard.
Drago has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Schwartz is proving hard to escape from.

Drago stands up from Schwartz's guard - Drago perhaps looking for a knockout.
Schwartz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Schwartz misses with a low kick.

Drago darts in and clinches Schwartz up against the cage.

Schwartz managing to block the knees to the body from Drago.

Schwartz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Schwartz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Drago won't be happy with that.

Schwartz decides to stand back up. Schwartz steps back and let's Drago get back to his feet.
Schwartz pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Drago tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schwartz swivels and escapes.

Schwartz scores with a takedown into Drago's guard.
Schwartz controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Drago is looking for a triangle but Schwartz pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Schwartz controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Drago is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Drago is breathing heavily.
Schwartz distracts Drago with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Drago looking for a sweep. Not yet Drago, not yet.
Schwartz content to stall in guard here.
Drago can't keep his opponent in guard - Schwartz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Schwartz looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Drago slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Schwartz stopping the sweep attempt from Drago.

Schwartz stands and steps away. Drago gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Drago blocks a head kick by Schwartz.
Schwartz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Drago pinned against the cage. Drago gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Drago moves out of range of the body kick.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Drago looks to clinch

and Schwartz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Drago landing knees to the body.
Schwartz blocks the elbow strike.
Drago lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Schwartz stops a takedown attempt from Drago.
Drago lands an elbow that stopped Schwartz in his tracks for a moment.
Drago unloads a knee to the mid-section. Schwartz lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Drago throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Drago can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Drago. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Schwartz is stalling here.
Schwartz tries to pull guard but Drago won't allow it.
Schwartz avoiding damage as Drago throws knees to the body.
Schwartz has had enough of the clinch but Drago keeps him there for the moment.
Drago lands a nice knee to the body.

Schwartz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Schwartz counters with a single leg into guard. Drago didn't expect that.
Schwartz looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Schwartz advances to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Juda Schwartz dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Drago wants to clinch but Schwartz slips to the side

and Schwartz counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Schwartz works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Drago keeping moving, preventing Schwartz from controlling successfully.
Juda Schwartz has got the better of the ground game so far.
Drago is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Schwartz is controlling him.

Schwartz postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Drago to stand up.

Schwartz just misses with a punch to the body.
Schwartz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Drago wants to clinch but Schwartz slips to the side

and Schwartz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Schwartz.

Schwartz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Schwartz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Drago wants to stand and escape but instead Schwartz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Schwartz prevents Drago from getting back to his feet.
Schwartz trying to control but Drago is working from the bottom.
Schwartz controls from within his opponent's guard.
Drago is looking to stand up but Schwartz isn't so interested in that idea.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Schwartz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Schwartz shoots in for a double leg but Drago sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

and Schwartz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Schwartz.

Drago unloads a knee to the mid-section. Schwartz lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Drago lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Drago creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Schwartz.
Schwartz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Drago is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Schwartz prevents a takedown attempt there.

Schwartz pulls guard successfully.
Schwartz has Drago pulled in close to control his posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Schwartz is on top in guard.
Schwartz is standing up over Drago. Drago looks to escape but Schwartz dives into side control.
Drago is trying to escape the position but Schwartz is controlling the position.
Drago tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Schwartz controlling the pace for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Let's hope that Schwartz has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Drago takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Drago wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Drago is trying to stand.
Drago tries to improve his position but instead Schwartz has taken his back!

Schwartz is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Drago with him. Drago is trying to defend but Schwartz has an arm under the chin now! Drago grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Juda Schwartz!
