Savage throws a jab but it's blocked by McCrackin.
Horrible takedown by Savage or perhaps it was just good defense by McCrackin which made him look bad.

and Savage cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Savage shoots in and drives through. McCrackin sprawls well.

Savage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

McCrackin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Savage is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bill McCrackin.
Savage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McCrackin.

Savage waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract McCrackin. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped McCrackin to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McCrackin misses with a combination
enabling Savage to counter with a crisp jab.
McCrackin scores with a three punch combo!
Savage throws a right hand that misses
and McCrackin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
McCrackin tries to close the distance and clinch but Savage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Savage gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
McCrackin throws a lazy uppercut

and Savage counters with a big uppercut that knocks McCrackin off his feet! Savage dives into side control looking to finish!
Bill McCrackin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Savage is looking to take a break and control but McCrackin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Savage in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Savage creates some space and throws a big elbow, but McCrackin sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Randy Savage is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Savage has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
