The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

letting Rogers counter with a right hand.
Jones throws a lazy uppercut
and Rogers counters with a head kick.
Jones lands with a nice combination. Rogers backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Brett Rogers has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rogers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rogers dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Rogers throws a sloppy body shot
and Jones counters with a nice uppercut.

Oooooh!!! Jones has knocked Rogers down with a huge combo! Jones steps away and waves a wobbly Rogers back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Rogers displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab.
Jacoby Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones steps in with a hook that catches Rogers right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Jones follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Rogers looks absolutely devastated.
