Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Mamedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Gaines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Trevor Gaines!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamedov fails with the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Mamedov or perhaps it was just good defense by Gaines which made him look bad.
A slow jab from Gaines misses its intended target.
Gaines connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Piotr Mamedov has been cut.
Mamedov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gaines.
Gaines stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mamedov closes the distance and clinches up with Gaines, looking for a takedown. Mamedov pushes Gaines against the cage but Gaines circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Piotr Mamedov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mamedov defending well as Gaines loads up on a big left hand.
Mamedov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gaines doesn't manage to clinch there - Mamedov circles away.
Gaines throws a jab but it's blocked by Mamedov.

Gaines is looking to clinch.
Mamedov staying out of range there.
Good standup being displayed there by Gaines as he connects with a hook.
Mamedov fails to land the takedown.
Trevor Gaines seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mamedov is breathing heavily.
Nice straight punches there by Gaines. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gaines.
Gaines misses the shot to the body.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mamedov. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Gaines drives through and clinches with Mamedov against the cage.

Oh Mamedov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gaines breaks from the clinch.

Gaines breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mamedov seems to have got his legs back now.

Mamedov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gaines tries to avoid it but Mamedov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gaines to the ground. Gaines escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gaines tries to clinch but Mamedov is having none of it.
Trevor Gaines is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mamedov looks up at the clock. Bad move! Gaines lands a right hand from hell, dropping Mamedov. Gaines pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
