Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Charles Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Ba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by RAWR. Fabio Ba will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ba is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Brown's half guard.

Ba is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Ba is pressing down on Brown's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brown is holding on for now.

Ba wants to work for an arm triangle but Brown is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Brown tries to roll over but Ba keeps him under control.

Ba is trying to work for a kimura but Brown is defending well.

Ba wants to free his trapped foot but Brown is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Ba is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brown is just riding it out for now. Ba eventually gives up the hold.

Ba is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brown defends it well.
Brown is concentrating on defense, preventing Ba from advancing position.

Ba tries to pass to full mount but Brown defends it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ba is trying to control. Brown wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Brown tries to get to full guard but Ba has control of the leg.

Ba seems to be looking for submissions.
Ba wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brown keeps working.
Brown wants to get back to full guard.
Brown controlling the position for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ba seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ba throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Brown was covering up waiting for the punch and Ba finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ba is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Brown is trying to hold Ba in close to prevent damage but Ba has managed to pass into half guard.

Ba is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Brown tries to roll over but Ba keeps him under control.

Ba is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Brown is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
