Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sullivan's choice of entrance music: Youth of the Nation. Brad Sullivan has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stewart misses with a takedown attempt
and Sullivan counters with a leg kick.
Sullivan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stewart but Stewart pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Stewart closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sullivan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Stewart shoots in and bounces Sullivan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Sullivan is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Stewart with a flurry of punches that miss.

Stewart is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Stewart postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stewart throws and elbow that misses. Sullivan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stewart's guard. Nice move by Sullivan!
Stewart tries to land a sweep but no joy.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stewart is on top in guard.
Sullivan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Stewart drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stewart jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sullivan is trying to control the position but Stewart postures up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Stewart drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sullivan dives on top into guard.
Sullivan trying to control the position from guard on top but Stewart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Stewart has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sullivan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sullivan tries to free his leg and advance position but Stewart is retaining full guard.

Sullivan content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Stewart has locked up a guillotine! Stewart's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Sullivan is holding on here and Stewart must be using up a lot of energy. Sullivan has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Stewart gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
