Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Loki Schwager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furio Starr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwager thows a body shot but no joy.
Schwager avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Starr wants to clinch

and Schwager counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Schwager.

Schwager ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Schwager no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Schwager pushes Starr off and gets back to his feet.
Schwager is looking to clinch but Starr is avoiding it.

Starr shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Schwager is trying to defend but Starr finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Starr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Schwager does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Schwager holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Starr throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Schwager tries to get to full guard but Starr has control of the leg.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Schwager doesn't manage to clinch there - Starr circles away.
Starr fails with an attempt to clinch.
Starr keeps the fight on the outside.
Starr throws a sloppy head kick and Schwager moves out of range easily.

Schwager tries to close the distance and clinch but Starr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Schwager has Starr pressed against the cage, preventing Starr from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Schwager has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Schwager jumps guard.
Schwager tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Schwager is looking to stand up but Starr isn't so interested in that idea.
Schwager wants to sweep but no luck.

Schwager pushes Starr off and scrambles back to his feet.
Starr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Starr throws an off balance right hand

and Schwager counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Schwager might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Schwager stands up and waves to Starr to follow him.
Starr fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Schwager avoids it really well and circles away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Schwager clinches.
Schwager is trying to push Starr away but Starr has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Schwager wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Starr has him pressed against the cage.

Starr lands a damaging elbow.
Starr throws a punch but it's blocked by Schwager.
Starr has Schwager pressed against the cage, preventing Schwager from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Schwager pulls Starr into guard.

Schwager pushes Starr off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Starr fails with the takedown.
Loki Schwager has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Furio Starr.

Schwager avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Schwager clinches up with Starr and pushes him back against the cage.

Schwager jumps guard and drags Starr to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Starr is rocked!

It looks like Furio Starr has been cut.

Schwager forces Starr back against the cage and clinches.
Starr is still on wobbly legs! Can Schwager finish him?
Starr wants to stall.

Schwager breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Schwager feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Starr crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
