Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Blew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolles Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raymond Blew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rolles Morrison!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blew swings for the body but Morrison moves out of range.
Morrison dodges the punch combination from Blew.
Blew scores with a crisp jab that stopped Morrison in his tracks.

Morrison rushes Blew and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Morrison changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Blew fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Blew tries to bum rush Morrison with a series of wild strikes but Morrison uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Blew circles away from the clinch attempt.

Blew working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Morrison doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Morrison manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Morrison postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Blew is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Morrison, into his guard.
Morrison wants to get back to his feet but Blew is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Blew feints a jab promting Morrison to slip. Blew then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Morrison slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Blew lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morrison circles away quickly and effectively.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Blew connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Morrison's hands.
Morrison goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Morrison changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blew tries to avoid it but Morrison manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blew to the ground. Blew escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Blew, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
