Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kazuki Sakurabu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jasiek Pioncha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pioncha comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Redemption Song (Bob Marley) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakurabu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pioncha throws a combination that misses
and Sakurabu counters with a shoot takedown. Pioncha fights it but they end up in guard.
Sakurabu postures up in Pioncha's guard and throws a big left but Pioncha blocks it.
Sakurabu trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sakurabu avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Pioncha stands up from Sakurabu's guard - Pioncha perhaps looking for a knockout.
Pioncha tries a head kick but it misses.
Sakurabu has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sakurabu there as he acknowledges the shot.
Pioncha throws a leg kick but Sakurabu moved away.
Pioncha misses with a few strikes there.
Pioncha misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sakurabu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pioncha plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Sakurabu steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pioncha. That one must have hurt.
Pioncha throws a series of punches but Sakurabu moves out of range.
Pioncha fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sakurabu.
Pioncha lands a two punch combo.
Sakurabu is breathing heavily.
Pioncha throws a right hand that Sakurabu ducks under and follows up with a left that Sakurabu also avoids with ease.
Pioncha thows a body kick. Sakurabu tries to catch it but that hurt him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pioncha throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Kazuki Sakurabu has been cut.
Pioncha lands a head kick. Sakurabu smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Pioncha throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Sakurabu's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Pioncha dives in looking to finish as Sakurabu flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Pioncha's strikes! Pioncha is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Sakurabu's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Sakurabu was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
