Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Niilo Nippu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vic Sotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nippu comes to the cage accompanied by Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up. Vic Sotto acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sotto misses with a body shot.

Sotto looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Nippu!
Sotto trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Nippu is looking to improve his position but Sotto isn't that keen on the idea.
Nippu wants to hold on but Sotto pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nippu regains half guard.
Nippu wants to control but Sotto is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Sotto stalling.
Sotto wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nippu keeps working.
Nippu is looking for a sweep. Sotto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sotto not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Nippu moves into full guard.

Nippu throws his legs up looking for a submission but Sotto uses it to pass to side control.
Nippu can't do much from the bottom here.
Nippu is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sotto's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Nippu tries to get to full guard but Sotto has control of the leg.
Sotto drops an elbow to the side of Nippu's head.
Sotto scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Nippu blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sotto.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sotto wants to work for an arm triangle but Nippu is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Nippu trying to hold on to Sotto's head to control him but Sotto postures up.
Nippu is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Nippu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Sotto throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Sotto is pressing down on Nippu's thigh, looking to free his foot. Nippu is holding on for now.

Sotto slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Nippu is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sotto throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nippu's body to avoid the submission. Nippu has instead reached around Sotto's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nippu arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
