Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Janis Piternieks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Banka Jansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jansson throws a sloppy head kick
and Piternieks counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jansson looks to land a body kick but Piternieks moved away.
Piternieks throws a leg kick which misses Jansson's front leg but catches the back leg as Jansson tries to avoid it.
Jansson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jansson has managed to clinch.
Piternieks tries to work over Jansson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Jansson ducks right into an uppercut from Piternieks.
A punch lands to the side of Jansson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Piternieks throws a leg kick which misses Jansson's front leg but catches the back leg as Jansson tries to avoid it.

Piternieks connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jansson momentarily.
Jansson is rocked!
Banka Jansson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Piternieks feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jansson's calf.
Piternieks ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Jansson out cold! The fight is over!
