Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taylor Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mc Jitus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Taylor Davis has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitus tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Davis swivels and escapes.
Davis looks to score with a jab to the body but Jitus is just out of range.
Mc Jitus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis misses with an attempted mid kick.

Jitus closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Davis quickly recovers to half guard.
Davis is refusing to be controlled, as Jitus sits in half guard.
Davis pushes Jitus off looking to stand but Jitus dives back in and keeps control.

Jitus is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Davis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jitus.
Davis is pressing down on Jitus's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Davis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jitus is one step ahead there.

Jitus trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Davis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Jitus is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Davis defends it well.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jitus in particular looking to stall.

Davis is staying active underneath Jitus, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Davis tries to kick Jitus off but Jitus keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jitus throws a head kick that misses.
Davis is looking to slow Jitus down with leg kicks.

and Davis counters with a nice uppercut.
An inside leg kick from Jitus misses.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Davis checks a leg kick.

It looks like Mc Jitus has been cut.
Davis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jitus tries to clinch up.
Jitus tries for a takedown but Davis circles away easily
and Davis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jitus tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Davis stuffs the takedown.
Taylor Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mc Jitus.
Jitus looks gassed!
Jitus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Davis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jitus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Davis throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Jitus takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Davis jabs Jitus to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jitus drops his hands momentarily and Davis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Davis scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jitus in his tracks.
Davis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jitus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Davis is looking to slow Jitus down with leg kicks.

Oooooh!!! Davis has knocked Jitus down with a huge combo! Davis steps away and waves a wobbly Jitus back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Jitus is rocked!
Davis steps in with a hook that catches Jitus right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Davis follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Jitus looks absolutely devastated.
