Silvia has chosen Roll With It as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silvia closes the distance and clinches.

Silvia is trying to trip Vaughn. He has hold of a leg but Vaughn is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Silvia persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Silvia stands up from Vaughn's guard - Silvia perhaps looking for a knockout.
Silvia tries for a takedown but Vaughn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Vaughn pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vaughn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Vaughn would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Vaughn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silvia sprawls well initially but Vaughn persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Vaughn tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Silvia.
Vaughn wants to take a breather but Silvia is having none of it.

Silvia kicks Vaughn off and gets back to his feet.
Silvia circles away from the clinch attempt.

Silvia closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Silvia lands in his opponent's guard.

Silvia decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
