Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Farr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Smoke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Farr comes to the cage accompanied by Welsh National Anthem. Smoke has chosen John E Smoke as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Farr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnny Smoke!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farr lands with a straight right. Smoke didn't see that one coming.
Farr swinging wildly here.
Farr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Smoke finds it's way round the side to connect with Farr's head.
Smoke looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Farr is fending him off so far but Smoke persists. Nope, Farr circles away and we're back to standing.
Farr lands a nice hook to Smoke's body. Smoke takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sloppy strikes from Farr. Those never looked like landing.

Smoke takes the fight into the clinch.
Smoke tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Farr just stands there and leans against the cage.
Smoke connects with a nasty looking knee right to Farr's face.
Smoke is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Farr is defending well for now.
Smoke gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


It looks like Tommy Farr has been cut.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Smoke just misses with a elbow thrown towards Farr's brow.
Smoke putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Farr in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Smoke using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Farr has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Smoke can't find room to land a body shot as Farr controls the action.
Smoke lands a left hand that snaps the head of Farr backwards.

Smoke decides to pull guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Johnny Smoke wasn't active enough on the ground.
Farr smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Farr moves into range and connects with a jab.
Smoke thows a body shot but no joy.
Farr digs a good body shot into Smoke's ribs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Farr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smoke circles away quickly and effectively.
Smoke avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Farr looks to throw the jab but Smoke is out of range.
Smoke jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Smoke counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Farr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smoke.
A punch lands to the side of Smoke 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Smoke tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Farr was well out of range. Poor timing from Smoke.
Smoke lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Farr at a distance.

Farr gets tackled into the cage by Smoke. Smoke maintains the clinch.
Smoke goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Smoke creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Smoke with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Smoke is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Smoke pulls Farr into guard.
Smoke has Farr pulled in close to control his posture.

Let's hope that Smoke has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Smoke is trying to keep Farr in close.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Johnny Smoke hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Farr avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smoke swings for the body but Farr moves out of range.

Smoke fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Farr sprawls well initially but Smoke persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Farr is trying to stand up here but Smoke is controlling him well.

A very excited looking Johnny Smoke rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
